Green Venue Guide
Green Music Australia have officially launched the Green Venue Program!

The Green Venue Program offers NSW venue operators and staff free tools and guidance to help improve their environmental footprint, reduce energy consumption/costs, and move towards more sustainable operations.
It includes three key components:
1. Green Venue Guide: Free toolkit providing a comprehensive overview on how to improve the environmental performance of live music venues.
2. Green Venue Certification pilot: A certification scheme to celebrate venues who are undertaking positive environmental actions. The certification program is free for NSW venues during the 2025 pilot, but spots are limited.
3. Free NSW Sustainability Workshops: A series of FREE in-person sustainability training workshops across NSW this March:
- Thursday, March 20 – Brunswick Picture House, Brunswick Heads / Bundjalung
- Friday, March 21 – Metro Theatre, Sydney / Gadigal
- Monday, March 24 – King Street, Newcastle / Mulubinba
- Tuesday, March 25 – Drifters Wharf, Gosford / Darkinjung
- Wednesday, March 26 – La La La’s, Wollongong / Dharawal
- Thursday, March 27 – The Landsdowne Hotel, Sydney / Gadigal
