Here For Good Agency is hosting a free Office Hours talk with Simone Ubaldi at High Note in Northcote on Thursday 22 October 2026, from 7pm to 9pm, with doors from 6:45pm. Ubaldi is co-owner and director of Sundowner Artists, the Melbourne management company behind three-time ARIA Award winners Amyl and The Sniffers, as well as Grace Cummings and The Gnomes. Entry is free with an RSVP, and capacity is limited.
Topics include what a career-defining stretch looks like from the inside, what a manager looks for before committing to an artist, how managers get paid and what a fair deal looks like, building a career without a viral moment, and the part of the job nobody puts in the contract. Audience questions are collected on post-it notes at the Office Hours Wall, and there is open networking afterwards.
Ubaldi and her partner Andrew Parisi took Amyl and The Sniffers from a late-night slot in the Croxton Front Bar to stages around the world, and were jointly named the Australian Association of Artist Managers’ inaugural Manager of the Year in 2022. They also run The Croxton Bandroom. Before management, Ubaldi worked as a music journalist in print and radio, and she has written seven books, including a Bon Scott biography.
