ALMBC Forum – Tuesday September 5th 2:00pm – 4:00pm
The Precinct, in the Warrar Room.
Level 2, The Precinct, TC Beirne Building
315 Brunswick Street Fortitude Valley
Please join us for this years’ ALMBC Members Forum at BIGSOUND. We will be using this session to provide our members with an update on the ALMBC’s current key priorities and our objectives for the next 12 months.
We will also use this year’s forum to announce the ALMBC’s position on the Voice referendum and issue our statement in relation to the Voice and the Uluru Statement from the Heart. We hope you can be there to join us.
We will also be providing a comprehensive update on the current state of play in relation to the insurance issue that continues to impact live music venues in Australia. We are making inroads but there is still a long way to go.
If you would like to know a little more in advance of attending the Forum please read the We Need to Talk About Insurance article published on our website last week.
Lastly, we are proud to be partnering with Green Music Australia this year to hear from them about the fantastic work they have done, are doing and hope to continue doing with our members and the broader Australian music industry.
The Session
In this session, hear from Green Music Australia’s National Program Manager, Emma Bosworth, who, alongside technical partners iSystain, built AMIDESI, a sector-first analytics platform designed to enable the music industry to better understand and improve its social and environmental performance. Emma will discuss GMA’s current projects, including its highly successful 7-week business sustainability course, the Green Action Program, which saw alumni ABC Music, Corner Group, Oxford Art Factory, Unified Group, Australian Radio Network and Universal Music Australia make meaningful progress towards their ESG goals.
Following Emma’s presentation, there will be time to ask any questions you may have about how to green your business and become a better advocate for the planet.
Open to all ALMBC Members and Strategic Partners and also to all AAM Members! Registration is essential.
RSVP: please register using this Zoom link regardless of whether you are there in person or Zooming in. We wanted to make sure our members who can’t attend BIGSOUND this year are able to attend via Zoom.

About Green Music Australia
Green Music Australia is a registered charity, harnessing the cultural power of our influential music scene to create a greener, safer future.
GMA’s role is to organise, facilitate and inspire musicians and the broader industry to make changes to improve our environmental performance, from energy use to packaging and waste to transport. Through leading by example and bringing audiences along with us, we can create deep, cultural change.
