Creative Australia’s Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups program closes on 1 September 2026, offering grants of between $10,000 and $50,000 for creative development, new work, research, collaborations, touring and community engagement across all art forms, including music.

There is an important catch for anyone planning to apply. You cannot submit an application unless you are registered in Creative Australia’s Application Management System before 10am AEST on Monday 31 August, and registration can take up to two business days to process. In other words, leaving it to the last minute is not an option.

If you are working on new live music projects, tours, commissions or collaborations, this is one of the more flexible national funding pools available, and well worth a look while there is still time to register and prepare a solid application.
