Nominations open for 2026 NIMAs
The National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMAs) are back for their 22nd edition, with nominations now open across six categories: Artist of the Year, Best New Talent, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Film Clip of the Year, and Community Clip of the Year.
The ceremony returns to Darwin Amphitheatre in Garamilla/Darwin on Saturday 8 August, sitting alongside a big week of First Nations culture that also includes the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair and the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards.
