Untitled Group, the team behind Beyond The Valley, Pitch Music & Arts Festival and Ability Fest, has announced DRIFT, a new single day electronic music festival for Perth and Brisbane in 2027. Perth will be held at Ozone Reserve by the water on the Labour Day long weekend, on Sunday 28 February, and Brisbane will be held at the Gateway Bridge Underpass on Saturday 6 March, each with two stages.
The lineup is yet to be announced and will mix international and local electronic artists, with no ticket prices or on-sale dates released and presale registration open now. Garbage presents the Perth edition, and Ascend and Kindacool partner on the Brisbane edition. A pre-launch campaign called The Drift Study, a fictional sleep study with clues and a companion website, is aimed at residents of both cities.
