The 2026 South Australian Music Awards finalists have been announced, and ALMBC is proud to congratulate board member Letisha Ackland of Balya Productions on her nomination in the Best Live Production Crew award, along with a number of ALMBC members who are represented across this year’s finalists.
ALMBC sponsors the Best Live Production Crew award, and wants to be clear that it has played no part in judging the award or choosing the finalists. The finalists in the category are David Musch, Letisha Ackland, Luke Hancock, Nathan Smith and Ryan Martin John, and ALMBC congratulates all five on being recognised for the work they do behind the scenes to keep live music running.
ALMBC also congratulates its members UniBar Adelaide and the Wheatsheaf Hotel, who are both finalists for Best Live Music Venue, and the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival, a finalist for Best Large Music Festival. GA Entertainment is another ALMBC member, and sponsors the Best Solo Artist award, where the finalists are Ella Ion, Elsy Wameyo, Erin Buku, LILLI and Nat Luna.
The Best Live Music Venue finalists are Hindley Street Music Hall, Lion Arts Factory, Lowlife Basement Bar, UniBar Adelaide and the Wheatsheaf Hotel, and the Best Large Music Festival finalists are Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival, Adelaide Guitar Festival, Gather Sounds, Side By Side and WOMADelaide. The awards are organised by MusicSA, and the full list of finalists across the major, industry and People’s Choice categories is on the South Australian Music Awards website.
The awards ceremony will be held on 10 November at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, and ALMBC wishes every finalist the best of luck on the night.
We will see you there!
