Expressions of interest are open for the 2027 AWMA Regional and Remote Women’s Music Program, with eight places for Queensland and eight for NSW.

The program is aimed at First Nations female and gender-diverse artists and music practitioners from regional and remote areas, at all career stages and across all genres.

Selected delegates are fully supported to attend the AWMA Conference Program, the First Nations Women’s Music Showcase, Black Carpet, the Awards Ceremony, the Concert and the After Party in Brisbane on 26 and 27 May 2027, with travel, accommodation and daily per diems provided.

Applications are assessed within each state delegation on professional needs, career development, music industry engagement and community impact, and expressions of interest close at 5pm AEST on Monday 16 November.
