Sound NSW is looking for artists and industry professionals to join its Industry Assessor Pool, reviewing applications to Sound NSW funding programs and providing recommendations to decision makers.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over, live in NSW or have a strong connection to the state, and bring expert music industry knowledge, whether as a songwriter, producer, manager, promoter, venue owner, label staff member, publicist, journalist or senior music business professional. Assessors are paid a fee for reviewing applications, which varies with the number reviewed, plus a set fee for attending an assessment meeting when one is required.
The commitment is 12 months with an option to extend for another 12, and expressions of interest close at 2pm on Monday 2 November. Members of the Sound NSW Advisory Board and anyone with outstanding acquittals from previous funding cannot apply.
