Have your say on updates to the NSW Entertainment Industry Act
ALMBC Members are invited to provide feedback to the NSW Entertainment Industry Act, specifically around the definition of performer, the role and appropriate renumeration for managers and bookers.
The ALMBC’s position is that:
- The current definition of performer is correct
- The act should make a distinction between performers, managers and booking agents
- Managers should be allowed between 10-20% fee
- Booking agents should maintain 10% booking fee
