Letisha Ackland is a proud Kokatha, Wirangu and Mirning woman from Ceduna in South Australia and the Founder and Director of Balya Productions, a First Nations-led live music and events production company. Based on Kaurna Yerta in South Australia, she works across national touring festivals, major events and grassroots community programs.
With over 18 years’ experience in the industry, Letisha has contributed to nationally recognised events including Laneway Festival, the National Indigenous Music Awards and NAIDOC Week celebrations.
Through Balya Productions she creates employment, mentoring and training pathways for First Nations artists, creatives and technical crew, strengthening representation and leadership within Australia’s live music and events sector.
